Typography: The land is mainly flat, with undulations. The veldt is mainly sweet veldt. The soil is mainly sand with sandy loam areas, which can be used for crop planting. Aggregate and stone are found in some places. Typical bushveld trees such as Marula, Baobab, Wild Seringa, Matoppi, etc are found. A well maintained road infrastructure provides access to all parts of the farm. Game water holes, game hides and platforms are in all areas on the property.

Roan Antelope Breeding Project: With less than 1,400 of these magnificent antelopes surviving in South Africa , this game reserve is dedicated to the preservation and expansion of the breed. Guests have the rare opportunity to visit the dedicated breeding area and see the sheer elegance and beauty of our Roan population at close quarters. (It's worthy to note that well before this reserve was established, a site was selected that was most conducive to successful Roan breeding; e.g. proper foliage for feeding and an adequate water supply.)
