Game and Fencing: The farm is fully fenced with Bonnox game fencing and the farm has over 160 head of game including, Eland, Zebra, Red Hartebees, Blesbuck, Springbuck and Ostriches. The farm is situated on a very quiet stretch of the Vaal with large amounts of bird life including, Pelican, Flamingos, Herons, Fish Eagles, Goliath Herons, Darters, Yellow Billed Ducks, Egyptian Geese and large flocks of Spurwing Geese.
Typographic: A town development has been proclaimed and approved for the sale of fifteen 2.2 hectare plots, each with 100 metres of waterfront. (Similar plots in the area sell for between R1 mil and R1,5mil, so just the value of the plots amounts to a minimum of R15 mil.) When the dam level drops to ± 80%, an island, which forms part of the farm, appears and hundreds of birds nest on this island. The “Sasol” bird counters often visit the farm to count the birds.
