Farm: The farm has been developed as a hunting & guest farm and all-year hunting exemptions are in place. We also accept reservations for non-hunting getaways.
Size: The farm is 140ha in size and located in a malaria-free area. Summer temperatures (December to February) are generally hot while winter days (June to August) are pleasant with cool evenings. The main rainfall season is during summer.
Location: The Farm is located just outside Mookgopong (formerly Naboomspruit) in the Northern Province of South Africa. The farm is approximately 90 minutes to the north of Pretoria and a 2-hour drive from Johannesburg.
Water: The bore holes is strong and equipped. There is a seasonal river flowing trough the Farm and there is a huge earth dam as well as some additional game drinking water holes.
Developments: Accommodation: at this farm accommodation consists of two en-suite guest rooms, each with a bathroom, air-conditioning,. All beds have mosquito nets. These bedrooms lead out to the swimming pool, an entertainment area with a fully equipped kitchen, a small lounge area with a television and DSTV and an outside area with a lapa which overlooks a water hole.
There are two log cabins - each with two single beds, electric points and a fan. There are two outside bathrooms, each with a basin and shower.
The main lodge also has an extra bedroom with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a dam at the Main Lodge (seasonal and rain dependant) with a deck overlooking the dam. Additionally is a swimming pool and games rooms.
There is a fully equipped abattoir and cold store, a laundry room and a recently developed shooting range.
Game: Impala, Kudu, Nyala, Blue Wildebeest, Burchell's Zebra, Bushbuck, Blesbok, Common Duiker, Steenbok, Warthog, Bushpig, Ostrich, Red Hartebeest & Waterbuck. Leopard and Brown Hyena are occasional visitors to the farm while the following also occur naturally: Serval, Caracal, African Wild Cat, Civet, Aardvark, Honey Badger, Black-backed Jackal, Banded Mongoose, Vervet Monkey & Lesser Bushbaby (including a resident family group on the lodge grounds). This farm is fully game fenced according to the requirements of the Department of Nature Conservation.
Typographic: This beautiful 140 ha game farm consists of the real Bush veldt nature scenes with plenty of large trees. This beautiful Game Farm consists of the Typical Waterberg Savannah and wildlife. Nature is here at its best. There is an excellent balance in the veldt and both your grazers and browsers will have a feast. This is the perfect hide away from the City life. The size is perfect should you wish to go into bow hunting or just as a weekend use. There is an abundance of bush veldt indigenous trees together with a combination of good grazing as well as some rocky outcrops and a shallow gorge. This area is known for its wide variety of wild life and abundance of bird species. This beautiful Game Farm consists of nice well balanced grass lands and some wetlands areas.
